We’re pleased to announce that Joke Productions is one of a select few companies to be working hand-in-hand with creative software giant Adobe. The goal is to help the Creative Cloud suite better meet the needs of large-scale productions.
In particular, Joke Productions is providing feedback in the area of unscripted film and television. We’ve shared experiences on heavy multi-cam projects and documentaries with thousands of hours of footage. It’s exciting to have this discourse with Adobe and see the software evolve and grow to better service our industry.
Providing Active Feedback and Requests
Company owners Joke Fincioen and Biagio Messina regularly share direct feedback with Adobe. After several years, the conversation still proves fruitful. Creative Cloud is now one of the keys to their unique post-production workflow (including editing, color correction, and in-house visual effects.)
Adobe recently posted a feature covering some of this workflow on the Adobe Creative Cloud Customer Success blog.
The story discusses how Joke Productions uses several components of the software suite. It also discusses the process on our Oxygen true crime series, She Made Me Do It.
Why Adobe?
In a time when technology and entertainment are evolving at warp speed, it’s crucial for software developers to adapt and grow quickly. Having worked with every major post-production software package, we’ve seen the biggest innovations from Adobe.
With Creative Cloud, Adobe is focussed on the future. Updates come regularly. When the industry changes, Adobe seems poised to adapt most quickly.
Having personally met with engineers and reps from Adobe, we’ve seen them make good on their promises of fast innovation, first hand.
Creative Cloud gives us the tools we need to be more creative in less time. The suite is made for artists and encourages creativity. It’s hard to ask for more than that.
