Foody Call is a reality television dating format turning food into foreplay. We help struggling relationships go to the next level by transforming duds into cooking casanovas.
Hosted by Rossi Moreale and Michele Merkin, this show helps our desperate bachelor clean up his place, gives him a makeover and teaches him how to cook an impressive meal. Why?
Whether said bachelor wants to get his girlfriend back, ask her to move in, or pop the big question, food really is the quickest way to the heart – on Foody Call.

History of Foody Call
Originally sold by Hollywood legend and former NBC president Warren Littlefield to Style Network, the show itself was based on a book called “Cook Your Way Into Her Pants.”
With Style being a network aimed at 35+ educated women, recipes like “Thaw and F—” were just a little too edgy!
Joke Productions owners Joke and Biagio were brought in to revamp the format of the show, and make it feel a little more like “Cook Your Way Into Her Heart.” Along with then Littlefield Company exec Chad Gervich, the team also created all the format elements such as the themed cereal boxes, rotating experts, and silver serving trays that mark each episode’s big decision.
About That Title…
Cook Your Way Into Her Pants was deemed too edgy for the network as well, and numerous titles were pitched out.
Chad Gervich came up with the title “Foody Call” as a joke, but it stuck. The network loved it and Foody Call enjoyed a great run.
To this day, we all like to think we inspired the Jack In The Box “Make a late night Foody Call” slogan!
