Unmasking a Killer – The TV Series
The series explores the case of the Golden State Killer. Significantly, he’s California’s most prolific uncaught serial killer. In the beginning, he terrorized northern California with a series of rapes. Later, he evolved into a murderer – ten brutal killings in southern California. DNA proves these crimes were committed by the same man. Compared to serial killers like Zodiac, BTK, and Richard Ramirez, GSK was far more deadly. Further, his impact was felt by hundreds of victims and family members.
A Special Project
The series is a company passion project, stretching over the last two years. Executive producers Joke Fincioen and Biagio Messina learned of the killer from Todd Lindsey. He acts as Supervising Producer on the series, and has tracked the case for over a decade.
Law enforcement officials, surviving victims, and family members who’ve lost loved ones sat for the documentary. All participated in hopes of catching the Golden State Killer.
